My friend showed me this yesterday. It's pretty neat!

yea ive done that, there are other ways to do it do get other pokemon like if you use one of the girls on that route instead of the boy with the slopoke you can get lapras early.... But who would pass up a chance for mew! and he lied you can do the teleport thing with any trainer, but the real trainer for mew is closer to saffron...... So you have to wait till later he made it apear to happen sooner.

No the youtube video worked for my on my rom for Pokemon Red.

@Otis, the video is correct, mudkip tried it on his pokemon red rom

wtc well i have both red and yellow for the actuall gameboy and it only works on those the way psypokes says it... I dont care about any roms... but ill check this way on my bros red version to see how it works.... Maybe both ways work

if we wanted mew in the remakes then we needed a hack

That hack is the one with mew under the truck.

That's easy with a rom. You just need the Gameshark codes.

I can't get my cheat codes to work on roms.

I just look them up on Google.

Example:

gameshark rare candy code

Or something like that

but i suppose that only works with the actual game

I type it in for my emulator and it never works.

@Silver and Mudkip: They work for me.

Remember: you always have to have the master code on for the cheat to work.

well i once had an emerald emulator for VBA on No$GBA and it keep erasing the file when i beat the E4
but getting back on topic - what do you think the reason why nintendo got rid of the way to get mew in RBY
