Getting used to soccer

I just started playing soccer with my friends recentley. At first I hated it and I sucked, but now they have taught me how to play and I'm really good at it. I can easily cross them now. I usually always win. I even made a headbutt goal once.

people who don't like soccer and are forced to play will just complain -
i call soccer "football" but for this topic i will call it soccer

I hate when I go to a website about football and it ends up being soccer. I don't watch soccer I just play it. Football is supposed to be when you wear equipment and you try to run or pass the football to the end zone. Theres 4 downs. Soccer is not football. Have the people who call soccer football ever even heard of football? NFL?

Football is nothing like soccer. The only time you actually kick the ball is to punt the ball to the other team.

Yes, us Americans are bad at naming things, so we thought we'd steal the name soccer.

steal the name soccer - you call it soccer over there anyway - us english call your "soccer" football and we call your "football" rugby

english football is more popular than american

Your making sense to us Americans.

I played soccer a very long time ago when I was young. I actually enjoyed it pretty well but over here in the states it is still not very widespread.

I just crossed my friends in soccer about half an hour ago. It was fun.

I hate soccer. The end.

My favourite sport is soccer, i cant wait for the world cup.
