Main Legendary for Red, Blue, and Yellow.

First topic message reminder :

All the other games have a main legendary representing there game. Example: Giratina is for Platinum, Lugia is for Silver.

Now what would the main legendarys be for Red, Blue and Yellow. They show on the covers, Charizard, Blastiose, and Pikachu. They have to have main legendaries for those versions though. What do you think they could be? I think Moltres for Red, Articuno for Blue, and Zapdos for yellow.

yah know that because they included a female character in the remakes that the girls name is leaf. (not green like some people thought)
also nobody else thought that they could tear away from the water idea and do Skyblue

they just wanted a choice so that girl players wouldn't have to be a boy all the time

If it was Skyblue then Articuno would defienetley be on the cover.

Red= Moltres. Blue= Articuno. Yellow= Zapdos

This isn't about Firered/Leafgreen.

if the originals only had 1 legendary bird then the games would be slightly harder

Why is Mewtwo catchable but Mew isn't.

look if you really want to get into particulars the originals were red, green then blue was the third version. followed by yellow wich was based on the anime. BUT they ended up only releasing red and blue everywhere else and green was forgotten so yellow became the main third version
yellow= zapdos
blue= articuno
red= moltres
green= mewtwo, cause a shiny mewtwo is green (even though shiny pokemon did not come until second gen)

green wasn't forgotten, it was later remade in gen 3 - leafgreen , but here's the obvious theory
red = fire = moltres
blue = water/ice = articuno
yellow = electric = zapdos

but green = grass = no legend but maybe mew or mewtwo but since mew is pink and his shiny form is blue then it may be mewtwo since in his shiny form his TAIL is green

dude i was talking about the first gen DUH cause generation 3 was completely redone upon the japanese first games not else where thats why we got leafgreen but mewtwo's entire body is tinted a very light green in shiny form but they dont always relate to the obviouse with game legendaries like what does emerald have to do with rayguaza since he i sumonded in later games with the jade orb thats why i just said that blue could be sky in an earlier post AND the only reason people are matching green to a grass type is because it was already accosiated with venusaur. So mewtwo would be stupid on the grounds that they did not have shiny pokemon in the original games. But if there were remakes of those games in wich legendaries were assosiated nintendo might make the mewtwo in the green version naturally be shiny like the red gyrados.

P.S.: im probably not going to post anything else on this chat because its an opinion topic NOT A FACT and im worried salamance will start an arguement, i mean were already headed that way

wait a minute, pokemon blue in the US replaced pokemon green from JPN so that would consequently mean that blue and red and blue in the US would be the same line of first series games as red and green in JPN

mewtwo IS CLASSED as a pokemon - the word "clone" is nowhere to be seen in the games, all it says in the pokedex is that it was created by DNA experiments and that his DNA matches mews
